Kenneth McIntyre joins us to talk about his essay on Herbert Butterfield in Chronicles’ Remembering the Right series. The author of a book on Butterfield, McIntyre discusses Butterfield’s Whig Interpretation of History, his views on international relations, and how his Augustinian idea of mankind informed his political theory.
